Guerilla Rigging: Animating Cloth in Maya
Just a quick little series of videos showing you an approach to rigging cloth objects to animate convincingly and dynamically - without waiting for simulations that bog down the animation process, refuse to follow the laws of physics, and just generally frustrate the heck out of you. The rigging approach here allows you both localized control over the cloth objects *and* an option to simply flick a switch and have the cloth movements automated.

In this package you'll get:
- 14 short, bite-sized little videos taking you through the process of rigging both the character's hood and his cape, using concepts applicable to any other cloth object you may have in mind;
- a Maya scene file with the fully-rigged character you see above, and the textures to go with him. The rig has full expression and lip synch controls set up (the control visibility for these can be accessed via the head control).
